Tamta Otiashvili is managing Opinion Research and Countering Disinformation Programs at the National Democratic Institute office in Ukraine. She has ten years of experience in working on democratic governance and applied research. Through her work on countering disinformation in Ukraine, Tamta leads NDI’s efforts to identify audiences that are vulnerable to disinformation and help program partners design evidence based countermeasures.
Tamta first joined NDI in 2008 in Tbilisi, Georgia where she was managing research programs. In 2015, she worked at NDI Washington DC office on regional programs in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Tamta has a Master of Arts degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, Tufts University and Bachelor degree in Public International Law from Tbilisi State University.
